Rishab Shetty gets a rare honor

Rishab Shetty shot to fame with the mystical thriller Kantara. The film captured the imagination of all and did wonders at the box office. According to the latest, Rishab Shetty won a rare honor. Rishab Shetty won the Most Promising Actor Award at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival.

Recently he was invited by PM Modi for a special dinner at Rajbhavan during his visit to Bengaluru, Karnataka. Speaking about his interaction with PM Modi, Rishab Shetty said “We spoke about what is happening in the Kannada film industry as well as the entertainment industry as a whole. He also took a note about the demands of the industry. We spoke a lot and most importantly, he listened to us. Of course we spoke about Kantara and the impact a rooted story had left on the audience worldwide. He congratulated us for doing a film that represents our culture. He mentioned Kantara several times and it felt surreal,”

Rishab played the role of a  Kambala champion who fights to save the forest at any cost.Congratulatory messages is pouring in from all quarters.
