Dhanush's SIR is set for release on 17 February in Telugu and Tamil. The film directed by Venky Atluri happens to be bilingual and it marks Dhanush's debut in Telugu. The makers today released the film's Telugu trailer.
The trailer showed Dhanush working as a lecturer in Tripathi Educational Institutions and the management which decides to take over government schools sends Dhanush to one government college where he happens to meet Samyuktha Menon. Samyuktha is seen playing the role of Meenakshi, a biology lecturer.
While Samuthirakhani as the head of the Tripathi Educational Institutions has one idea, Dhanush has other ideas and this results in sparks flying between them. Where this leads to form the rest of the story. GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his BGM and the film stars Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakhani, Thothapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadi, Adukalam Naren, Praveena in key roles. The trailer is thought-provoking and is set to send a powerful message to the government and private players in the education system in society.
