Malavika Mohanan reached Chennai for Chiyaan Vikram. She will be participating in his upcoming entertainer Thangalaan. The film's shoot is progressing at a brisk pace under the direction of PA. Ranjith. The film is a period entertainer and has an 1800 backdrop. The film is inspired by the real-life incidents that happened in the Kolar Gold Mines.
The film also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy Masilamani in important roles. The film's script was finalised after four years and is the project is made with a whopping budget by Gnanavel Raja under his Studio Green Banner. The film's music is scored by GV.Prakash Kumar.
GV.Prakash Kumar earlier excited all sharing he finished recording two songs and came up with an international tribal mix that was unique for him. Vikram is reeling under a string of flops despite his versatile performances and he is keen to come out of them with this film.
