Senior Director Sagar Passes Away At 70

Veteran Director Passed Away

After unfortunate demise of senior actress Jamuna last week, Tollywood wakes with another bad today. Veteran Director Sagar (70) who has been suffering with illness passed away this morning in Chennai. Sagar debuted as a director with Rakasi Loya and later went on making superhit films like Stuart puram Dongalu, Amma Donga, Ramasakkanodu,Khaidi Brothers. Sagar is known for making family friendly films with action and humour. 

Sagar worked as President for Directors Association for three terms. He is a very friendly in nature and encouraged many of his assistants to become directors. Star directors VV Vinayak and Srinu Vaitla came from his school. Both of them worked as associates and assistant directors for Sagar. Directors like Ravi Kumar Choudary and many others also worked for him.
