Rumours rubbished on Maaveran. When Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveran was announced in June 2022 as it is named after Super Star Rajinikanth's yesteryear hit and the film featured star director Shankar's daughter Aditi Shankar. But with no updates from the makers, rumours spread thick and fast that the project was shelved.
But now the makers confirmed that the project is not shelved and it is very much on. Producer Arun Viswa rubbished all the rumours on social media and posted “How can influencers, trackers, verified handles, and even news channels carry baseless allegations and make news out of it? Loads of young talents and loads of money are at stake! Kindly verify with the team or PRO before you post.”
The film is directed by Madonne Ashwin and this happens to be his second project after his debut with Yogi Babu's Mandela. Bharat Shankar is the music director for the film which stars Mysskin, Sunil, Saritha, and Yogi Babu in key roles.
