Aparichithudu Vikram, the versatile Villain has come a long way in his career. Debuting in Bollywood with ‘Raavan’ he almost overshadowed Abhishek Bachchan. Tremendous success of Tamil version ‘Raavanan’ is all credited to the impeccable performance of Vikram.
Speaking about failure of South heroes in making a ground in Bollywood, Vikram says ‘South heroes have not felt the need to leave their fiefdoms and have stardom in Bollywood. Why should we even try. Our South stars may want to do a film or two in Bollywood but would not want to leave our super stardom behind to seek uncertain glory.’
Answering a question about rivalry between top heroes, Vikram said ‘In our South, rivalries are not between stars but between their fans. When two superstars films release on the same day, it usually results in a fight over posters and hoardings. But unlike Bollywood,we meet and interact with our fans very regularly.’
Hmmm…Vikram says the valid point.
