When we consider the success of a film in terms of return of investment and profits, Kantara might be the biggest hit in recent age of Indian cinema. It was made with a mere budget of Rs 15 crores and ended up collecting Rs 415 Crores gross worldwide. That's a return of 25 times to the investment. It proved irrespective of religion and region, if a film connects with the audience and succeed in making them feel it's core emotion, then there are no boundaries. It can work universally. The success story of Kantara will remain as a turning point in the history of Indian cinema.
On completing 100 days of its release, congrats to its Hero, Writer and Director Rishabh Shetty for making a true to the art form film with emotions and Hombale Films for backing the film and for taking it to a whole new level with their marketing.
