It is known that yesteryear senior actor Dr. Prabhakar Reddy donated a few acres for the benefit of the film workers and came up with the idea of Chitrapuri Colony. For a long, the family members of Prabhakar Reddy have been trying to construct a hospital for those film workers in the Chitrapuri Colony. However, with the committee members of Chitrapuri Colony now saying that Chiranjeevi is planning to construct a hospital for Chitrapuri colony film workers, this is resulting in a huge controversy.
Chiranjeevi recently participated in the inauguration of MIG, HIG plots Chitrapuri event on December 29. For the event, the committee members did not invite the family members of Prabhakar Reddy who found the committee. Speaking over these developments, Sailaja, Prabhakar Reddy's daughter said these developments pained her mother.
She said her mother expected at least a phone call if not an invitation but no one called and even when her sister called, no one responded. She said many are asking how could the committee take important decisions without inviting the founding members. She said everyone knows how her father toiled for the benefit of the workers and now the members not inviting them is paining a lot.
She said when they have been trying their best to construct a hospital, the committee members are now saying Chiranjeevi will be building the hospital and sidelining them. This seems that they are trying to make use of the brand name of Chiranjeevi.
