Telugu cinema fraternity lost two of their veteran actors within a span of two days. Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away at the age of 87 years on December 23rd. He acted in more than 750 films and is the most senior and respected actor in Tollywood. He initially acted as a body double for senior actor NTR in filmsike Ramudu Bheemudu and then became one of the most talented actors in Telugu Cinema. He was also served as Member of Parliament for Rajahmundry constituency on behalf of Telugu Desam Party from 1996-98. He is one of the few Telugu actors to receive Raghupati Venkayya Award.
Senior actor Chalapathi Rao who is famous for his villain roles and later as character actor, comedian has created a mark for himself. He was passed away at the age of 78 on December 24th. He acted in more than 600 films. Andhra Pradesh former chief minister, TDP chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu visited the residences of Kaikala Satyanarayana and Chalapathi Rao and offered his condolences to their family members over their demise. He consoled the senior actors family members and expressed his grief for losing two senior actors in a very quick time.
