Dhamaka director Trinatharao Nakkina apologized for going into damage control mode. It is known that Raviteja, Sree Leela's Dhamaka is releasing on 23, December 2022 in a grand manner. However, ahead of the release, the makers got a huge shock when a section of people protested against them demanding an apology.
During the Dhamaka pre-release event, Trinatharao Nakkina commented ' Enti Nee Uppara Sodi'.His comments went viral and the Uppara community took a strong exception to his statement. They staged a protest at the Film Chamber. Telangana Uppara Association president Uppari Sekhar demanded an apology.
Following this Trinatharao Nakkina, apologised the Uppara community and said that he had no intention to hurt their feelings and requested them not to bring down Dhamaka film and its prospects at the box office. He said he is also a BC and Uppara caste is also in BC and requested the makers not to use Uppara caste name in a controversial manner. This resolved the issue ahead of the Dhamaka release.
