Ajith is set to show his Thegimpu in Tollywood. Ajith's Thunivu got a Telugu title and the makers officially confirmed the film's title with an intense poster of Ajith. The film is titled Thegimpu and it comes with a tagline 'No Guts No Glory'. The film is racing for a grand release on 12 January 2023 as a Pongal special.
The film stars Manju Warrier as the female lead and is directed by H.Vinoth. The film's promotions, first look, and songs got tremendous responses from all quarters. Samuthirakhani and Ajay are playing key roles in the film for which music is tuned by Ghibran.
Cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah. Boney Kapoor is presenting the film on Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios banner. The film is shot in extravagantly in the exotic locations of Bangkok. Ajith and Vinoth earlier teamed for Valimai and Nerkondaparvai.
