She is getting flooded with numerous crazy offers and in the meantime, she is getting trolled for becoming a sister. Mrunal Thakur is playing the role of Ishan Khattar's war drama Pippa in Bollywood. But netizens did not like them and started trolling her for the same saying no filmmaker in the future would cast her in the role of heroine.
Mrunal Thakur, reacting to the same said " I want to break that stereotype mindset that actresses should play only female lead roles and they shouldn't act in other roles. If people don't like my performance in that role, they are free to share their feedback to me so that she will rectify it rather than asking her not to do particular roles. I have met many friends who are actresses and who said they missed out on important roles like sister etc but added that as an actor one should be open to doing any role'
Pippa is directed by Raja Menon and stars Soni Razdan, Priyanshu Painyuli in important roles. Pippa is about Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron who fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 along with his siblings.
