Since morning there have been many reports about health issue of Actress, Activist Poonam Kaur. The actress has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a rare health condition which incurs profound physical pain coupled with fatigue, sleep, memory, and mood swings. Poonam Kaur who has been actively participating in Zero GST movement for the last one year has joined a protest against GST for handloom products in Gandhi Park at Surat on November 10th. Then she took part in Silent Protest at Sabarmathi Ashram on 11th. She left the same day to Delhi to participate in Brahmakumari Prohlgramme the next day. Poonam Kaur developed back pain there and left for Kerala. While she was under treatment there, it is diagnosed with Fibromyalgia on 18th. After the treatment she is currently resting at Maharashtra. Her health is stable now. She is confident about her recovery.
Poonam supported Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. She was seen walking next to Rahul Gandhi in the yatra. Poonam is said to be doing fine for now and her condition is stable. Treatment can help the patient but this disease is long term and not completely curable.
