Superstar Krishna who was undergoing treatment at continental hospital in Hyderabad has passed away during the early hours on November 15. Krishna gari demise left entire Ghattamaneni family in a deep grief along with millions of heartbroken fans. Many of his fans from both Telugu states has travelled to Hyderabad to take a final look at his mortal remains. Since last evening to today's funeral fans queued outside Padmalaya Studios to pay their final respects to their favourite hero.
Krishna gari final procession started from Padmalaya Studios to Mahaprasthanam amidst fans, celebrities and family. The last rites of Superstar Krishna has accorded with a state funeral by gun firing three rounds in the air. Mahesh Babu with uncontrollable grief applied the head-torch and ignited the funeral pile to mortal remains of Legendary Krishna garu. After the request of Ghattamaneni family, the live telecast of final rituals has been stopped.
Along with the Ghattamaneni Family, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Producer Dil Raju, Director Meher Ramesh, and many film, political personalities took part in the funeral.
