Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the star heroines down south with huge popularity. She is one those rare heroines who is doing heroine centric films and draw audiences to the theatre. She also became popular in OTT space with Family Man series in Amazon Prime. Samantha didn't make public appearance recently and it was reported that she has been suffering with a health condition. But, there was nothing official about it. Samantha in her latest social media post on Saturday revealed that she has been suffering with an auto immune health condition.
Samantha posted her picture of her with saline to her hand while dubbing for her character in Yashoda. She revealed that she has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis, which leads to weakening of muscles. She thanked for the overwhelming response towards the trailer of her upcoming release Yashoda. She also said that the doctors are confident that she will make complete recover soon and ended her note with "This too shall pass"
Samantha's Yashoda is slated to release on November 11th while her next Shakunthalam is due to release early next year. She also has Hollywood and Bollywood films lined up. She was last seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal co-starring with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
