Movie lovers got excited when The Multiplex Association of India announced the celebration of the National Cinema Day few days back promising a feat of movies at a dead cheap rate of Rs 75 in multiplexes across the country on September 16,2022. However, now The Multiplex Association of India decided to postpone National Cinema Day by a week. National Cinema Day will now be celebrated on September 23, 2022.
This is making movie lovers wonder why National Cinema Day was postponed. It is coming out that in the wake of the Bollywood film Brahmastra Part 1 Shiva doing well at the box office, owing to the pressure exerted by the stakeholders, they decided to postpone the celebrations by a week.
The multiplex chains PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, MIRA, Citypride, ASIAN, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, and Delite are participating in the celebrations and are coming together to give a wholesome experience to movie lovers.
