One can gauge the impact of a disaster or a debacle by its after effects. This was seen in the case of Chiranjeevi's Acharya. Chiranjeevi has been making various statements regarding content and the working style of directors whenever he promotes any films in the full public gaze. The effect of Acharya is so much that Koratala Shiva's next project with NTR is not taking off.
Now a similar situation is happening in the case of Liger. Puri Jagannath, Charmy Kaur, and Vijay Devarakonda went into silent mode. Reports have it that they have decided to shelve the project. They are getting ready to compensate those who suffered losses. Just like in the Acharya case where reports came that Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan returned their remuneration, reports are coming that Vijay Devarakonda returned back part of his remuneration.
Inside talk is Liger's impact is forcing Puri Jagannath and Charmy Kaur to go on a break. Charmy Kaur shared the details and posted "Chill guys! Just taking a break ( from social media )@PuriConnects will bounce back Bigger and Better... until then, Live and let Live".
Vijay Devarakonda, Puri Jagannath, and Charmy Kaur after holding consultations decided to shelve the Jana Gana Mana project as they felt that the budget and the business constraints after the Liger result will not be tenable to take the project forward. While Vijay Devarakonda decided to move on with his project Kushi with Shiva Nirvana, Puri Jagannath decided to come up with the sequel to his hit film iSmart Shankar.
Puri Jagannath pitched the idea to energetic hero Ram and Ram is also excited to take the project forward. Puri Jagannath is working on the idea and the story and if everything goes well and Ram likes the story, one can witness iSmart Shankar's mass antics on the screen once again in form of iSmart Shankar 2.
