Vijayendra Prasad's another sensation '1770-Ek Sangram'

Vijayendra Prasad's film on Anandmath

Star writer Vijayendra Prasad is known for his powerful stores and according to the latest he is coming up with sensational projects. He already revealed that he is penning a story on RSS and Kangana Ranaut's Aparajitha Ayodhya. Now Vijayendra Prasad is coming up with another sensation on the film featuring based on Bengali novelist Bankim Chandra Chatterjee's famous novel 'Anandmath'

The project is titled 1770-Ek Sangram and the makers announced the project on the 128th death anniversary of Banikim Chandra Chatterjee and also on the completion of 150years of Vandemataram. Shhailendra Kkumar from SS1 Entertainment, Suraj Sharma from P K Entertainments are bankrolling the project.

The film is made in Hindi,Tamil an Telugu and will be helmed by Rajamouli's protege Ashwin Gangaraju. Ashwin Gangaraju made his debut with Akasavani. The novel depicts the story of a brotherhood of monks banded together to fight the British East India Company during the Sannyasi Rebellion, which takes place in 1770. The first published in the novel 'Anandamath,' the slogan 'Vande Mataram' later became India's national song.
