The makers of Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan after releasing the first looks of Vikram and Karthi, today released the first look of Bollywood beauty, eternal elegance Aishwarya Rai's first look. Aishwarya Rai is playing the dual role as Nandini, a Pazhuvoor queen, and wife of Periya Pazhuvettraraiyar. Sharing Aishwarya Rai's first look, the makers posted "Vengeance has a beautiful face! Meet Nandini, the Queen of Pazhuvoor! "
Aishwarya looked amazing, stunning, and elegant as the queen of Pazhuvoor. The film is racing for a grand release on September 30. Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Ashwin Kakamanu are playing important roles in the film while Oscar winner Rahman is scoring the music.
Ratnam along with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan penned the story for the film which is based on the novel Ponniyin Selvan authored by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Mani Ratnam is co-producing the film under his production studio Madras Talkies, along with Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
