It is known that Puri Jagannath planned the project earlier with stars like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu but as things did not materialise, he decided to take the project forward with Vijay Devarakonda.
Till sometime back rumours spread that Puri Jagannath is planning to rope in Sridevi's daughter Janhvi as the female lead. However Janhvi rubbished all the rumours. Now reports have it that Puri Jagannath is planning to finalise the most happening beauty Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
