Mothers Day is being celebrated today and Tollywood stars paid tributes to their mothers. This is what they said about their mothers.
Allu Arjun:
My mother Nirmala never gets surprised or excited. Whether it is good or bad she accepts them in a normal manner. Generally, mothers do not allow their sons to get into the army. When I expressed my desire to join the army, she readily gave the green signal. I did Naa Peru Surya only for her. If anyone asks me to name the most modern person, then I tell my mother's name. Modern doesn't mean talking in English or wearing western outfits but having modern thoughts.
Rana
My mother Lakshmi is very strong and has a lot of self-confidence. I learned these things from her. When I went for the eye surgery during the Aranya shoot, I came to know that I had high BP from my birth. Doctors told that if they do not start treatment immediately kidneys will get damaged and will get a stroke or there is even a threat to life. During that time I did not get scared but gave confidence to my friends and colleagues. I changed my food habits and underwent the surgery. It was possible as I was strong like my mother.
NTR
My mother Shalini has a lot of foresight. She sent me to Kuchupudi dance training so that I do not experience fear while facing the camera. I tried to avoid it a lot at that time but later fell in love with the dance. If I am dancing so well on screen now, it is due to my mother's foresight. She has a lot of maturity and foresees troubles and trained me accordingly. This helped me in establishing myself as an actor and moving forward confidently.
Vijay Devarakonda
Ours is a middle-class family. I and my brother were sent to a hostel at the age of 6. I and my mother Madhavi used to write letters to each other weekly twice. She used to explain our family situation and asked me to take care of my mother. Even now she used to ask me to help people. With her inspiration, I undertook a few social service activities during the lockdown.
Nani
My mother Vijayalakshmi worked as a pharmacist and got retired recently. Though I asked her to take VRS after I became a hero, she refused. She used to travel in RTC buses. She is always happy and calm. I learned the same from her and so I will never lose my composure even if directors reshoot repeatedly.
