Raashi Khanna after her debut with Madras Cafe in Kollywood, attained stardom in Tollywood doing films like Manam, Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade, Bengal Tiger, Supreme. In between, she lost her Midas touch and slipped down the ladder with flops. She is currently starring in Gopichand's Pakka Commercial and Naga Chaitanya's Thank You.
She recently starred in a web series Rudra sharing screen presence with Ajay Devgn. Now speaking to scribes, Raashi Khanna said she was confined to glamor doll roles down south and even she got stranded in the routine formula of romancing heroes. She said she do not like south viewers to brand heroines as milky beauties just for their fairness rather than for their performances.
Raashi even recollected how she was body-shamed by people down south branding her as a gas tanker. It has to be seen how the south industry will react to her comments as she is already fading in the industry.
