Director Mani Ratnam's ambitious project Raavanan (In Hindi it is Raavan which is dubbed in Telugu as Villain) is set for release in cinema halls worldwide on June 18.
Acording to Tollywood insiders, Villain and Ravanan are scheduled for simultaneous release in over 40 theatres in 30 US cities. Although the producers Big Pictures and Madras Talkies have sold their overseas screening rights over the film to Karunamoorthy of Ayngaran International in London have claimed that it is one of the biggest releases for a south Indian film in the United States.
The film's Hindi version is distributed by Reliance Big Pictures.
