In a shocking incident, director Nandyala Ravi passed away on May 14 due to COVID complications. The writer-director was undergoing treatment at a private hospital, however as per reports, he didn’t respond and succumbed to the virus.
Few weeks ago, some of the Tollywood celebrities after knowing the condition of the writer, actors like Saptagiri came forward and donated Rs1 lakh. On the other side, Chiranjeevi also helped the family and made the necessary arrangements.
The deceased is knonw for his films like, 'Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki', 'Orey Bujjigaa' and 'Power Play'. Recently, Tollywood was shocked with the demsie of noted journalist and anchor Thummala Narsimha Reddy, (TNR) due to COVID complications.
Telangana is reeling under severe crisis. The state has registered 4,723 COVID cases in the last 24-hours. Owing to the rise in cases, the governmnet has imposed 10-day lockdown. It is rumoured that KCR may extend the lockdown till the month end, May 31.
