Rana's Big Revelation!

‘Not Fan Of Regular Cinema’

Rana Daggubati has come a long way since his debut film Leader. The actor completes 11 years in industry this year. Having born with a golden spoon and coming from a family whose grandfather D. Rama Naidu, a well-known producer;  Venkatesh Daagubati , Rana’s uncle are a noted family in the industry.  

Rana’s cinematic journey has however been no cakewalk. The actor has spilled beans on his choices and how taste differs from the routine potboiler stuff. He says that he is not someone who liked regular commercial template which has a sort of love, revenge and action.

Rana goes on to say that when he came into the industry there was nothing new to offer expect mainstream cinema. However the pattern has changed now where he calls this is that best time to tell stories. Whether it is a filmmaker or an artiste, the time has changed where language is no barrier and beautiful stories are coming out.

Never Connected To College Stories

Rana also makes big revelation stating he never went to college and thus he never got connected to college stories.  On the work front, Rana’s recent film Aranya released which opened to lukewarm response. The same was released in Tamil as Kaadan but the Hindi version Haathi Mere Saathi got postponed due to surge in Covid cases. He now awaits the release of Virata Parvam.
