Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram and Jala Jala Jalapaatham were among the most-loved numbers in Uppena’s album – the picturisation of the same further enhanced the impact of the songs on the big screen.
The video song of Jalapaatham was released last week on YouTube and expectedly, met with a terrific response. In a matter of 6 days, the video uploaded on Aditya Music’s channel has registered over 2.14 crore views. Among the many aspects that ensured its immense repeat value among online viewers is the surreal visual ambience complemented by the tender romance between the on-screen lead pair Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty.
Uppena’s theatrical run has ended at most places and the film is likely to stream on Netflix in the first half of April. The film managed to collect nearly Rs 50 crores at the box office trumping the expectations of many naysayers.
