Chiranjeevi Says SVR Would Have Been Proud Of Sye Raa

Mega Star Chiranjeevi unveiled the statue of legendary actor SVR (Saluri Venkata Ranga Rao) yesterday in a grand event organized at SVR Circle, Housing Board Colony, Tadepalligudam, Andhra Pradesh.

After unveiling the 9ft 3 in statue of SVR, Chiranjeevi paid floral tributes to the great actor. He said, “SVR is my favorite actor. My father got the opportunity to share screen presence with him and he always used to sing praises of his acting talent. He became a legend and immortal in the hearts of all with his acting and dialogue delivery. He got the prestigious award in Jakartha, Indonesia. I went to Madras after drawing inspiration from him. People are now encouraging and appreciating the film Sye Raa based on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Had SVR been alive, he would have congratulated me saying 'Sabhash'".

Lok Sabha MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju, former ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Paidikondala Manikyalarao, Vatti Vasantha Kumar, MLAs Kottu Satyanarayana, Vasu Babu, MLC R Surya Rao, Eluru former MLA Badeti Bujji, State Kapu Corporation Chairman Jakkampudi Raja and others participated in the event.
