Comedy actor Priyadashi is making his debut as lead actor with Mallesham which is not another regular commercial cinema. It is the real life story of a Padma Shri awardee named Mallesham. The film’s trailer released just a while ago tells the fall and rise of a young guy Mallesham who invented Asu Machine that reduces the time taken to weave a Pochampally Ikat sari from about six hours to an hour and a half.
Initial episodes of Mallesham trailer show the protagonist’s love for Telugu films. It also has a beautiful love story between the lead pair, followed by Mallesham’s struggles to make Asu Machine.
Mallesham is all about how a Pochampally weaver’s son Mallesham, 6th grade dropout to an engineer, who invented a machine to make life easier for his mother and won a Padma Shri in the process. Dialogues are thought-provoking and background score is captivating.
All in all, Mallesham trailer is intriguing and inspiring. Director Raj R might have done great research, before taking up this project. Seems like, this is going to amaze Telugu audience to the core. The film is slated for release on June 21st.
