Nobody actually knew about a film called C/O Kancharapalem before Rana Daggubati had come forward to release the film through Suresh Productions Banner. Entire industry lauded the film after watching it in a special screening. Even the film received extreme positive reviews from critics who recommended audience to watch it.
However, for some reasons Care Of Kancharapalem didn’t fare well at box office, much to the shock of everyone associated with it. Wrong time release is said to be the major reason for the poor response.
Nonetheless, Rana is said to be very much happy with his first attempt as presenter. He had done his best in bringing many industry people to watch the film and share their experiences. Rana was appreciated for encouraging a small time film which is actually high on emotions.
Interim, Rana is venturing into production by undertaking responsibilities of Suresh Productions. As per inner sources, he has lined up many small to medium range films to be made under his home production house Suresh Productions for next few years.
On acting front, Rana is playing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Balakrishna’s dream project NTR.
