Young and talented actor Rahul Ravindran surprised all donning director’s hat with Chi La Sow that starred Sushanth in lead. Although the film received positive response from all quarters, it couldn’t do wonders at box office. Sushanth’s bad form and heavy competition in form of Goodachari played spoilsport.
Many predicted, Rahul who signed his next under Annapurna Studios will direct one among Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. But, it is reliably learnt that, Rahul Ravindran is given the responsibility to direct Sumanth first.
Rahul is said to have prepared yet another love subject and Nagarjuna told him to come up with a full script. Currently, Rahul is busy fine-tuning the script. He took 2 to 3 months’ time to complete all the pre=production works to start the project by the end of this year or early in 2019.
On the flip side, Sumanth who was last seen in a critically acclaimed film Malli Raava is presently doing couple of films- Idam Jagath, Subrahmanyapuram and a cameo as his grandfather ANR in NTR biopic titled NTR.
Seems like, Rahul will get the chance to direct Nagarjuna or Naga Chaitanya if he can deliver hit with Sumanth’s film!
