Gaining stardom is not an easy chore, even for actors from influential families. If it is that simple, then most of the star sons would have become superstars in quick session. The only thing that makes an actor a superstar or a complete actor is individual fans growth for them after scoring consecutive commercial hits and getting audience appreciations with their performances in different or challenging roles.
Fortunately, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan enjoyed immense fans frenzy from his second film Magadheera itself. The film directed by SS Rajamouli turned out as an industry hit and no hero in last few decades attained the accomplishment in such early stage of their career.
Charan was lauded as right heir of Chiranjeevi. But, then Charan’s desperate attempts to please masses turned futile. Dhruva was the film that brought confidence back in Charan who was going through tough phase with flop streak.
But, it was only his last film Rangasthalam that proved Charan was a complete actor. More than the commercial success, Chiru and Charan were pleased with positive reception for the latter’s performance in the Sukumar directorial.
Though Ram Charan was initially happy with the super success of Rangasthalam, he is now worried a bit about a bad omen. As we all know, Rangasthalam created non-Baahubali record with 127 Cr full run shares worldwide.
After the industry hit Magadheera, Charan failed to deliver another hit for ages. Like many in the industry, Charan too believes in sentiment. But, this time he’s playing a safe game after Rangasthalam.
While Charan picked a soft subject of Orange after Magadheera, he is now doing a full-fledged commercial entertainer under Boyapati Srinu’s direction. Since this film will have all the ingredients for masses, it is expected to please at least one section which is strength of mega heroes.
