Bollywood starlet Vidya Balan who’s playing the role of Basavatarakam in Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s biopic titled NTR has joined the film's shoot recently. As soon as she landed in Hyderabad for the shoot, Balakrishna welcomed her to his house.
Vidya Balan who arrived in traditional saree was indeed stunned with warm welcome from NTR’s family. Lokeshwari gaaru presented her a saree. In the above picture, we can also see Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara Devi, younger Tejaswini and son-in-law Bharat.
Vidya Balan in a recent interview stated that she was in the process of collecting details about Basavatarakam and added there is not much information about her available in the public domain.
Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta is roped in to essay the role of Dadasaheb Phalke awardee LV Prasad, who launched NTR in 1949 with Mana Desam. Reports also suggest that Rana Daggubati is chosen to play the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu.
The film directed by Krish and produced jointly by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati is likely to release during Sankranthi in 2019.
