Manchu Lakshmi who scored her first hit with Dongata is hoping to continue the success streak with his upcoming flick Wife Of Ram. Lakshmi’s role is said to be a different one in the film directed by debutante Vijay, protégé of SS Rajamouli and bankrolled by Kriti Prasad and Anand under People Media Factory.
Latest we hear is Wife Of Hindi rights were sold for a staggering price. The rights fetched Rs 1.5 crores for the makers, which indeed is a great deal for a small time film. As per insiders, demand is good for Wife Of Ram Telugu rights as well.
The film is about a murder mystery, where Lakshmi Manchu investigates murder of her husband played by Samrat Reddy. Interest has been created on the film ever since its trailer was released recently.
