For the first time, Allu Sirish is doing a remake. He will next be seen in the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) that starred Dulquer Salmaan.
The film is about two spoiled youngsters (NRIs) journey to their motherland. Dulquer won accolades for his performance as a confused desi and it is a big challenge for Sirish to step into his shoes to reprise the lead role in Telugu version.
Latest update is Rukshar Dhillon who was recently seen opposite Nani in Krishnarjuna Yuddham is finalized to play leading lady in ABCD remake.
Aparna Gopinath who played female lead in the original had a strong presence as the differently thinking student activist of the college.
Rukshar will now reprise Aparna’s role in ABCD Telugu remake that will be directed by debutante Sanjeev Reddy and bankrolled jointly by Madhura Sridhar and Yash Rangineni under Madhura Entertainments and BigBen Cinemas.
Necessary changes are said to be made to the story to suit Telugu sensibilities.
