Officer, the cop thriller brings back Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma together after a gap of nearly two and half decades. It is the fourth time collaboration of Nag and RGV. Bankrolled by Ram Gopal Varma and Sudeer Chandra under the banner R Company, Nagarjuna plays an encounter specialist in the film and Myra Sareen will be seen in an important role.
The makers earlier announced to release Officer on May 25th, but the release has been pushed to June 1st due to the delay in the technical work. Meanwhile, it is learnt that, Officer distribution rights have been sold for a decent price.
Kamakshi Movies has acquired Officer Krishna district rights, while Sri Subramaneswara Cine Creations will release the film through Prince Films in the rest of Andhra Pradesh. The producers will release the film on their own in Nizam area.
Let’s see whether Officer will provide much needed break for both Nagarjuna and RGV. In fact, the film’s result is crucial for RGV who delivered only disasters in recent times!
