From the days of entry of Junior NTR into the Tollywood with Gunashekhar’s magnum opus ‘Bala Ramayanam,’ he was considered as next to his grand father legendary NTR when it comes to portraying mythological characters on the silver screen. To further elevate Junior NTR’s acting abilities, movie like ‘Yamadonga’ has demanded the urgent necessity to come up with a mythological story for Junior NTR and one that’s expected is ‘Dana Veera Shura Karna.’
Before the release of Adurs, Director VV Vinayak has successfully pushed this subject into Junior NTR fan groups and the only option left for Tollywood to come out with a mythological concept is Junior NTR. But the cards have changed with in a matter of just two months when an alternative to Junior NTR in the name of Daggubati Rana has sprouted up.
To further increase the heat, wherever Rana is attending the promotional events of ‘Leader’ he is making sure of entertaining the audience by imitating legendary NTR and spelling out few power packed lengthy dialogues from our old mythological movies. Daggubati and Akkineni fans have already struck to their job of promoting Rana as their number one choice for mythological characters and as a competitor to Junior NTR.
‘Rana is tall, handsome and even has an impeccable voice which fits well into the mythological roles. He will surely be the next star to look after,’ said Raju, a fan of Daggubati family. If the same mania continues for Rana, then it won’t be far away that Junior NTR will catch ‘Rana Phobia’ especially when it comes to this special genre of mythological movies.
Although, it may be preliminary to anticipate Rana’s talents at this moment, but his confidence levels looks to be unmatched and he himself has expressed the interest to do a full length character like that of Duryodhana.
