Young Hero Nitin who has been visiting temples praying for the success of his upcoming romantic entertainer Chal Mohan Ranga which is slated for a grand release in couple of days time, had a shocking experience in a temple.
Nitin was caught red handed by stealing the ring of the Lord Narasimhaswamy in the famous Appanna temple in Simhachalam. Temple priest Seetaramacharyulu caught Nitin and tied him with a rope and produced in front of the head priest Rajagopal.
Rajagopal questioned Nitin saying ' Why did you steal the ring of the Lord. It is not right on his part to indulge in such acts despite being an established star hero which sets a bad example"
Nitin who was in a shock said he did not commit any crime and they can strip search him. In the meantime two more youngsters were produced in the similar manner.
Later it came out that every year a ritual named 'vinodotsavam' is celebrated in the temple and as a part of it, 'Dongala Dopu' festival is celebrated. According to the temple story, when lord returns back losing his ring after going on a pleasure trip, goddess asks him to enter into the temple only if he has the ring. Lord sends one of the priest to conduct inquiry who produces in front of him the suspicious devotees.
Nitin after hearing the story heaved a sigh of relief for the novel and memorable experience in the famous temple.
