NNOK – No Place For Failures!

Needi Naadi Oke Katha, A Contemporary Youth Subject

Needi Naadi Oke Katha, the new film arriving in theaters on 23rd clearly seems to narrate a contemporary social point on how parents in Telugu states are putting the pressure on their children (students) to get good marks, grades, ranks which often lead to depression developing suicidal tendencies among youth.

Director Venu Udugula and hero Sri Vishnu who worked on NNOK script for more than three years banked on working simple day to day emotions in every household where a parent just want to see his son or daughter to be an Engineer or Doctor uncared of child’s interest.

“Grinding students in corporate colleges is ruining our educational system. When every parent wants their child to be a ranker and achiever in EAMCET and other entrance exams, where should failures go? Are these failures really waste fellows with no place and right to live in our society? NNOK is a voice for my social anger.

Our rank and goal oriented competitive educational system is absolutely ridiculous putting so  much stress on students giving them no options to live happily. We made our children into robots and slaves barricading their independence and joy in between four walls with a load of books. NNOK strikes chord with those parents and students who underwent this typical phase of education, competitive exams, ranks, college, job, career and settlement. Let us break the chain and save a generation,” said director Venu.
