Central Shock To Nagarjuna

Central Government gives shock to Nagarjuna

Akkineni Nagarjuna receives a shock from central government. Akkineni International Foundation that was founded by Nagarjuna has been banned by the central government. The central government has banned several NGO’s across the country. The reason behind this ban is that these NGO’s have not been submitting IT returns and the source of income.

Akkineni Nagarjuna founded this organization in 2014. Every year, an award is being granted to eligible persons across the country for their contribution to cinema. Several welfare programs are also being held under this organization every year. The central government has banned 190 organizations from Telangana and 450 from Andhra Pradesh. Most of these NGO’s raise funds from foreign countries. And the government has rightly banned the organizations that have not been disclosing their income.

However, this comes a huge shock to Nag and it is heard that he is going to do the repair work and get the banned lifted as soon as possible. This NGO is a pride to Akkineni family as it is named after his father Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, who has immensely contributed to Telugu Cinema.
