We know controversial director Ram Gopal Varma has directed a movie titled Vangaveeti, based on the rivalry between Vangaveeti and Devineni families and how it leads to full scale enmity in the soil of Vijayawada. Though the movie is titled Vangaveeti, the critics felt that Vangaveeti family was shown in poor light and the Devineni family were shown in positive light.
On Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga’s 29th death anniversary, character artiste cum villain GV Naidu has announced that he is going to produce a serial based on the life story of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. The serial will be made in 150 episodes and it will show the true story of this great leader, revealed Naidu. He also made some interesting comments that this plan is nurtured from Late Director Dasari Narayana Rao and that he always wanted to showcase the great deeds of Ranga.
He further added that Ram Gopal Varma’s version of Vangaveeti was an edited version shown to public while he will clearly make 150 episodes to show the actual representation of Mohana Ranga. The shoot will most likely start from next year and more details on the cast and crew are awaited.
