Acting is all about an actor’s ability to spread a magic on audience but Ilayathalapathy Vijay is playing the literal magical tricks on audience with his upcoming flick Adirindhi, dubbed version to Mersal. The high budgeted entertainer geared for huge release as a Diwali special on October 18 in two Telugu speaking states succeeded in picking a good pre release buzz and all set to become the biggest ever release for a Vijay’s film in Telugu.
As mentioned sometime back, Vijay is playing three different roles of a village Panchayat head, a doctor and a magician. While the first two characters aren’t anything difficult but playing magician is a challenge.
Director Atlee and his team flew to Europe to shoot these segments featuring Vijay as magician. In fact, Adirindhi became the first Indian film to be shot in Macedonia wherein three internationally renowned magicians Gogo Requiem from Macedonia, Dani Belev from Bulgaria and Raman Sharma from Canada trained Vijay in learning the tricks of magic.
Watching Vijay’s professional approach towards the character, ‘if Vijay decides to become a magician, he will be one of the best in the world,’ said Raman Sharma praising the actor’s work.
Adirindhi has music scored by AR Rahman while Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, and SJ Suryah played the pivotal roles. Adirindhi will be released in Telugu states through Northstar Entertainment’s Sharrath Marar.
