Multi talented and versatile actor Prakash Raj hasn’t threatened to return his National Awards in connection with silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi when certain group of people celebrating out on the murder and death of journalist Gauri Lankesh.
In this regard, when media populated their breaking news columns with Prakash Raj threatening to return the National Awards, the actor once again came before media to correct the statement.
‘Well, I just can laugh as I see the scrolling in news channels saying that Prakash Raj has decided to give back his National Awards. I am not such a fool to give back National Awards which are been given to me for my body of work and for which I am proud of. I just wonder, why this comes,’ Prakash Raj questioned the media houses.
At the same time, PR raised the point on PM Narendra Modi’s chilling silence on recent inhuman killings of Gauri Lankesh and Kalburgi. ‘As a citizen f India, I am pained, taken back and just vented my pain and anguish,’ PR added.
