Manikarnika has become a prestigious project in Bollywood ever since the magnum opus landed into the hands of Kangna Ranaut and Krish. After bagging a blockbuster with first historical film – Gauthami Puthra Satakarni, director Krish is immediately making yet another historical film Manikarnika which will be an epic biographical war drama about Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.
As we all know, Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad penned the script and he also insisted of having Krish in the project. So, makers got him onboard since they liked his work in Satakarni. Manikarnika will be dubbed into all Indian languages since it has a universal subject
In an interview, Vijayendra Prasad revealed that war episodes are so special and will turn to be a major highlight for Manikarnika to be shot on a scale that is never seen before on Indian screens. Meanwhile, production activities are progressing at a brisk pace.
