Junior NTR and Puri Jagannath’s sensational entertainer Temper is still considered one of the well made films in recent times which bought the new shade out in young tiger. Impressed by the script, Hindi director Rohit Shetty purchased the remake rights and announced the film with Ranveer Singh as hero.
Apparently, Rohit officially confirmed that he bought Temper remake rights but Hindi version will not be a complete remake.
‘Some of my film’s portions will be inspired from Junior NTR Temper and not a complete rip off. So, this is not exactly a remake. As we wanted four to five scenes from Temper as it is, we purchased the rights. This is what we did with Singham before but my Singham was different from original Singham. Even for Temper, we have written our own story, screenplay taking the exact idea.
I know comparisons are inevitable. We do not want to hide anything. I want to clearly say that we bought Temper rights. With the experience of Singham, I am confident and I know I can handle Temper too. As the heroine’s part isn’t shaped up, I am yet to finalize the heroine,’ said Rohit Shetty in an interview.
