Is there any news in Indian cinema other than Baahubali 2? Everywhere and anywhere, last two weeks or so, only film buzzing strong on tongues is Baahubali 2. Now that the film has said and delivered a lethal blow to Indian Box Office pushing benchmark to next level, for next one week or so we Indians can’t get out from Baahubali hysteria.
Hiding from this Tollywood tsunami attack, even other regional cinemas and National cinema trade circles went into hibernation. There’s no activity for media too other than this magnum opus because non-Baahubali producers kept themselves mum for a while so that Baahubali wave passes off silently without damaging their films.
Apparently, almost all the screens in Telugu states are screening only Baahubali 2 while majority in other states have also increased the screen count, media is also posting the items speculating, analyzing, reporting on the same and tradesmen are counting only Baahubali currency.
Isn’t this powerful eclipse which threw entire Indian cinema into deep darkness with single handed domination? How many times does such eclipses occur in a decade or century, let us thank SS Rajamouli for creating this unimaginative wonder.
