With one day left for welcoming the New Year, everywhere there’s a celebrative mood set in. Obviously, cinema won’t make up to first choice because joining with friends or family get together kind of events takes precedence. That’s the basic reason why producers and directors stay away from year end releases.
Yet, Nara Rohit and Sree Vishnu’s ‘Appatlo Okadundevadu’ and Allari Naresh ‘Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam’ are released yesterday. While AO opened to strong word of mouth talk and critics verdict, contrasting was the situation for IDNB. According to trade talk, Allari Naresh showed clear domination over Rohit because of his strong comedy base in audience. Obviously, IDNB had a decent start at ticket counters while AO was weak due to its meager casting.
What’s more surprising is, the result went upside down by yesterday evening and today morning shows. AO picked up outstandingly recording full houses in all A and metro centers while IDNB might fall into deficit very soon. Advance bookings are said to be in full swing for AO. Commercial applause for these kinds of films motivates writers and directors to come up with many better films.
