One small film to have seen great success in recent times is ‘Pelli Choopu.’ The project with relatively no star cast and no budget emerged as a sensational blockbuster. ‘PC’ altogether made nearly 20 Crores business including the admission into 1 Million Dollar club in US. Great news from producer Raj Kandukuri is Bollywood’s famous film maker Vashu Bhagnani bagged the Hindi remake rights.
In fact, there was an excessive competition in market for bagging ‘Pelli Choopulu’ remakes in other languages. Salman Khan tried to conquer but dropped the idea when Vashu Bhagnani entered into scene. Raj and Vashu have signed the agreement and none other than Vashu’s son Jackky Bhagnani is going to debut as hero with this project.
Meanwhile, Gautham Vasudev Menon bagged the Tamil remake rights for the same. Reports say, Raj Kandukuri pocketed approximately Rs. 51 Lakhs from Vashu selling the Hindi rights.
