Telugu Writers Killed Kabali!

Kabali Telugu Version Failed For Poor Writing and Weak Dubbing

This is biggest problem many dubbing films face when precautions taken during the dubbing go haywire or prove to be inconsistent. Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ was released worldwide in the last week to thunderous openings setting old records on fire. However, the talk went on spreading divided in Tamil and one sided negative in Telugu. When we tried to make a small comparison on why such negativity from Telugu public towards ‘Kabali,’ the reason was found to be really simple.

Yes, it’s the poor quality of dubbing and dialogue writing. Film analysts who watched both Tamil and Telugu versions of ‘Kabali’ felt that original Tamil version had a literally deeper impact. Our Telugu makers haven’t showed any sincerity in translating the original feel and so is the final output.

Dubbing artist Mano, for the first time failed to captivate the audience with his pronunciation wherein Rajini’s strength and Mano’s dubbing are found to be in non-sync. Agreed that, ‘Kabali’ is a film made with meager commercial ingredients but Rajini’s star persona is enough to do the wonderful magic which was proved many a times in the cases like ‘Dalapathi, Chandra Mukhi.’
