First illusion that began to grip film circles hearing about ‘Janatha Garage’ release postponement is, the film hasn’t come out to satisfactory output and director Koratala Siva is resorting to re-shoots. Well, that’s not the reason of course. A statement from Koratala at yesterday held press meet clearly stated on delivering the best product with superb quality is the only release pushed the film by three weeks.
‘Fans might have been disappointed with delay. I apologize to them but they will feel happy tomorrow with our decision which has been taken to ensure best output. As the script has got an excellent span and NTR performed brilliantly, there is no harm in delaying by three weeks. At the same time, we have best technicians in the team. So, why not deliver a best technical output. As we are fighting to do complete justice for the post production, thus is the delay,’ Koratala definitely controlled the damage with the clarification.
Heavy rains during the onset of monsoon have also disrupted the shoot by few days which indirectly affected the post production phase. Without rushing for a hurried output, the decision taken by producers can be called absolutely right.
