Super Star Rajinikanth ‘Kabali’ is the movie which entire country is waiting for the release. As known, the film is all likely to hit the screens on July 3rd week on a massive scale. There was a huge competition for ‘Kabali’ Telugu theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Top distribution agencies have come forward with fancy offers.
However, Shanmukha Pictures of Praveen, KP Chowdary acquired the rights (excluding satellite rights) for whopping Rs. 29 Crores. Although, this is a shocking number but Rajinikanth has superb market in Telugu states. A positive talk on day 1 can do an easy business of anything around 40 Crores, said a trade expert.
Directed Ranjith Pa, the film is narrated in local Mafia backdrop. Already, ‘Kabali’ teaser released on Youtube created a storm by crossing 20 Million views. More details on audio launch and official release date announcement are still to come out.
